Launched @Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/chelsite/chelsite-filter-made-from-pure-fine-silver-snowflakes?ref=android_project_share

Not a lot of prelaunch dissappointed with the start. Got good advice from uncle Robert about this being a bad start, which led to a better potential path for wider market focused on just water.

A water canister with a reservoir intake filter and a spigot filter that fills a column of water for measured dispensing maybe. Spigot column is detactable to be used to collect water.

InventureX video.

Uploaded a video for InventureX.

Listed 3 problems that this product solves:
1. antimicrobial filter for cold brew
2. Happy middle, control rate of oil being filtered. Paper removes oil and SS passes oils.
3. Microporous metal filter. No pores to clog.

Links and comments:

The antimicrobial properties of the Chelsite® silver filter gives the Aeropress® a new use as a water purifier. Provided for surface images and content description: https://www.etsy.com/listing/59658453... Same material different form: Not launching as a silver trade coin that can filter water, but the content description of the patented material is the same. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/... The foam at the end is the result of Argentation Chromatography, where oil travels slower past silver than water. Silver filter allows you to control how much oil you want to pass. SS metal filter don't filter oils at all and paper filter just absorb oils.

I wish I had more time to spend on this project.

I may choose a nice summer day to set up a new rig to video the entire process and post on YouTube to share content.

And...   maybe send Mr Canterbury a coin after a video of the filter killing e.coli as it passes through with the home test, so he can use it for survival.

Intended this Etsy to be a cheap placeholder I can store pictures and upload description, but came in more handy in other ways. And...   indexed by Google.

Order a 70mm pellet die. They are so expensive. Feels like most of our money is being spent on dies of every size, but hopefully it'll pay off.

Weekend was a learning experience.

Rolling mill doesn't work well because "paper" can't be stretched too much before it rips. It's basically more useful to harden and even the thickness.

Better 75mm die ordered, but will take another week to make anything larger than 50mm.

Holiday's were busy with family and friends.

We're ready to make these things very thin with a rolling mill.
